Life has a way of taking turns and twists that we didn't expect.

God has a way of speaking to us and directing us where we need to go and to what we should or shouldn't do. IF (and that's a BIG if) we choose to listen to him when he speaks. However that is the catch thing we all have, one thing we sometimes don't want even if we never want to admit that.
I know that God has tests, trials and tribulations for us...After all he says it in James 1:2-6
"Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perserverance. Perseverane must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. "
So what will you & I CHOOSE to do with this, rejoice even in the sometimes pain of the 3T's, learn from these 3T's, contiue on down the same path?
It's up to you (or me) since God is a gentleman, and will attempt to teach us, but it is our choice to learn, listen, grow, move...and all that.
Me....I know what I want to do...follow God and his way...the question is, do I always choose it? Do you?

Favorite New Artist

So, I meant to share this with all of you before Christmas.
I made a new discovery about mid November, of a new Christian artist, Audrey Assad.
To say that I love her music is an understatment.
It seems to stir something in my soul and makes me breathe deeper.
I can't seem to get the video on youtube to post on here so if you have a moment go to YouTube then in the search box put in Audrey Assad then click on the one that's Titled "Winter Snow Song- Audrey Assad with Chris Tomlin" it's about 10th down on the page and shows a winter scene. It's not only a good recording of the song but the video is pretty neat too.
If you have a few minutes watch & listen it's really good.
Then Check out Audrey on Myspace. She's really new so you can't find her in stores just yet.

Once you listen let me know what you think.

I simply can not believe that it's almost here...

I don't really want to admit that it is...

But I suppose I have to ...since it is now 2 days away

My 30th Birthday is this week. Now, now, before you get on my case about 30 not being old

I know that it's not really. However, it just seems odd. I don't feel 30 I don't feel like I have the life a 30yr old should have. Not that that's a bad thing.

I know that as I look back on the past 10yrs or so I can see God's hand on my life. Shaping it and moving it and me where He chooses to.

Putting me places I wouldn't have imagined, teaching me things...some that while I was being taught I wouldn't have choosen but also knowing as I look back that those times as well as the good ones have made me who I am today; for better or worse.

It's been a few difficult weeks for me. Life sometimes forces you to make choices, that you're not sure of when you make if its the right or wrong thing. Then those make you make other choices. So I find myself needing to cling to Him more right now. To ask for guidance, direction and hope for the future. No matter what it may hold.

And for my heart to be guarded... I know that I need that more than anything. Along with wisdom to know where to go and what steps to take.

Here's hopeing that the next 10yrs will be as full of life and adventure as the last 10!

If you've been apart of it at all these past years, Thank you! The adventure wouldn't have been the same with out you.

It's been too long since I've posted anything on here. I fail when it comes to this thing :o)
But life has a way of calling me away from the computer these days.
Which to be honest is ok with me.
I can't believe that it's 2010 already and that in 8 days I'll turn 30. I think I'm ok with it though. Life is pretty great even if it's not what or where I expected it to be at this time in my life. Thankfully God has a way of putting us where we need to be when we need to be there and so here I am.

I don't do New Years Resolutions but I do look forward to 2010 being a great year full of wonderful possibilities, new adventures, and a life full filled.

Above are a few pictures that ushered in my new year. The cat is my baby , Ghost who will be 17 this year.
